Skills and knowledge
I love to learn new things. This isn't an exhaustive list, but here are a few things I have picked up along the way, and some additional information as to why it's being included here for your review:
- Acuity Scheduling (main function of doing the scheduling portion of my job, we are not a typical use case for this software, but I've made it work really well for what we need)
- Azure DevOps (I have enough knowledge to be able to create PBIs and Bugs for our Dev and QA teams)
- Azure Portal (mostly relating to creating or deleting virtual infrastructure for our Mobile application)
- Communication to technical and non-technical audiences (I can communicate just as easily with front-line employees, IT managers, Directors, or the C-suite)
- Computer Hardware expertise (both Server/Workstation from a professional standpoint, and PC from a personal - gaming- standpoint)
- Conflict Resolution (I am passionate about helping people resolve points of contention)
- Critical thinking (I'm the person who finds the edge cases and overlooked details in plans, then fixes them)
- Customer service
- Google Calendar (another main application that I use for my job)
- Google Drawings (used to maintain the application diagrams)
- Google Docs (I love Word, but there are some cool things you can do with this, like collaborative editing, that are simply better on Google)
- Google Sheets (I'd say that I'm at expert level, or almost expert level, with Sheets)
- HTML / CSS (I can understand it, and toy with it enough to make things work)
- Leadership and Management (I've never had a job where "manager" was in my title, but my team typically looks to my example, and heeds my advice)
- Microsoft Excel (great Excel skills)
- Microsoft Word (I'm great at Word, all of the customer-facing documents that I author are built in Word)
- Monday.com (I have some limited experience in Monday.com, and feel comfortable in the tool)
- Process management & improvement (I really enjoy taking something and making it better, or building a new process for doing a task)
- Project Management (member of PMI, with plans to take the PMP when I am eligible)
- Project planning & scheduling
- Smartsheets (one of the main Project Management tools that I use right now)
- Software testing (my primary job function at WaveCreste, but something I've always enjoyed. I learned a lot about the Agile methodology doing software testing)
- Squarespace (I've made quite a few websites on that platform)
- SugarCRM (fairly decent knowledge of the SugarCRM platform)
- Training (this was a big part of my Master's degree - I also have a lot of educators in my family, so training is something near and dear to my heart. I do a lot of informal training with customers during all of the projects I manage, and some formal training for Admins for the Milsoft Mobile app)
- Virtual Machines (at least a passing understanding)
- Webhooks (enough to program a simple chat bot that announces upcoming events on a Calendar)
- Weebly (I'm no expert, but this site was made on Weebly)
- Zapier (built a bespoke integration between SugarCRM and Zendesk using Zapier)
